Nipun is a veteran in the Indian Sustainability landscape, and comes with proven leadership experience in driving sustainability decisions across organisations he has worked for. With over 15+ years of experience across IT, Aerospace, Defence and Sustainability; Nipun was the former VP of Sustainability and CSR at IT major - Mphasis.
Madhurjya is a part of GPSR Arya team, and focuses on ethanol. He is an alumnus of IIT Guwahati and IIM Bangalore, and a certified FRM (Financial Risk Manager). Prior to joining GPS, Madhurjya had worked with organizations such as YES Bank and EXL Service and also has had an entrepreneurial stint in the renewables space.
Nikhil Powar is currently a manager at GPSR Arya, leading feedstock aggregation for Arya’s range of clean fuel projects. With a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, Nikhil has held positions in business development, operations and research across companies in the waste management sector including SURE Global and Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd.
A Chartered Accountant having more than 8 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Accounting and Corporate Finance, Pallavi comes with 6+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector. In GPSR Arya, she is responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities for the company. She also drives the development of business plans and financial projections to support project funding and investment activities.
Milind was heading biofuels at BPCL as an Executive Director, prior to joining GPSR. He oversaw the execution of BPCL’s integrated 2G/1G ethanol project at Odisha (Capex: USD 200 MM), and coordinated procurement of 1G Ethanol for all OMCs. He has also played a key role in the shaping of MoPNG’s SATAT policy for BioCNG.
Mainak Chakraborty is the Co-Founder and CEO of GPS Renewables, one of India’s leading full-stack biofuel services company. GPS has setup over 100 biogas plants, using its in-house patented technology; executed Asia's largest MSW based BioCNG plant in Indore and is in the process of setting up Paddy straw based BioCNG plants & first generation bioethanol plants. An MIT Top innovator, Mainak has been an INK Fellow and a Global Shaper, World Economic Forum, apart from serving on the Credit Committee of Truss Fund, a US based impact fund. Mainak is also an alumnus of IIM-B.
Sreekrishna Sankar is the Co-Founder and COO of GPS Renewables, one of India’s leading full-stack biofuel services company. Going beyond biogas, GPS today is en-route to establishing several large scale BioCNG and Ethanol plants across India with the aim of driving sustainability using biofuels. A former technology consultant with Oliver Wyman, Sreekrishna is the founding member of the Free Software Foundation of India, apart from being a technical advisor to the government of Kerala. Sreekrishna is also an alumnus of IIM-B.
Suken is responsible for Deal Sourcing, Evaluation and Execution, along with Portfolio Management at SBICap Ventures’ NEEV Fund. Suken has over 12 years’ of experience in fundraising, investments and asset management across Infrastructure assets working with Private Equity, Principal Investments and Advisory firms. Suken has completed all 3 levels of CFA program from CFA Institute, USA and holds MBA in Finance from KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research.
